Job Title:Senior Electrical Design Engineer Job Description: As a senior electrical design engineer, you will lead the development of complex electrical systems for power transmission and distribution substations. Your expertise in primary electrical design, layout design, and earthing system analysis will be instrumental in delivering high-quality designs that meet client objectives and Arcadis quality standards. You will work closely with the USA ET Team to prepare and review engineering deliverables, including reports, proposals, presentations, and drawing packages. Additionally, you will take personal responsibility for preparing detailed engineering documentation and leading the engineering effort for projects, providing technical and performance oversight for team members. Required Skills & Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you will need at least 12 years' experience in substation primary design, preferably in a consulting environment. A graduate degree in Bachelor of Technology/ Science in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University is required. You must have excellent English written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong mathematical skills applied in engineering calculations. Experience in design & drafting electrical infrastructure in USA, general familiarity with the electricity supply industry, electricity transmission and distribution practices, and consulting experience in power projects in USA are highly desirable. Active participation in CPD training to continue developing technical knowledge and new emerging technology is essential.
