About this role

Design and deliver complex electrical engineering projects, ensuring the safe and efficient transmission of power. This involves developing innovative solutions to circuit and system design challenges.

AECOM seeks a senior engineer with expertise in electrical engineering, experienced in the installation and operation & maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.

  • This engineer will be responsible for the following activities:
  1. 10 - 13 Years (Exposure to outside India projects preferably Middle East,UK, USA, Canada & ANZ region )
  2. Preparation, Review and production of Electrical (EHV, HV, MV, LV), Street Lighting, Telecom, ELV, ICT Network, Pump station,Water Treatment Plant, EV charging Station, Substation, Power Transmission & Distribution network
  3. Design Calculation, Street lighting, High Mast Area Lighting, Cable sizing & Voltage drop, Earthing, Fault level, Corridor sizing
  4. Utilization of software tools such as Dialux, AGI, Lighting Reality, Amtech, ETAP

Key responsibilities include but not limited to

  • Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to work well independently at times
  • Able to see the 'bigger picture' and take a birds-eye view of projects
  • Confident, with the ability to work either independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
  • Accountability for assigned work
  • Accuracy & precision of work
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
