Job Title: Cloud Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitLab CI, AWS Code Pipeline, and other DevOps tools.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure and services in AWS, leveraging native services like EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, etc.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash, Python, or other scripting languages to streamline operations.
- Implement and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and/or OpenShift.
- Use AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) to define cloud infrastructure in code and manage deployments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS services, cloud security, deployment processes, and system performance.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure efficient integration and deployment processes.
- Monitor, log, and improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, and performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps practices and cloud engineering.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services and infrastructure management.
- 2+ years of scripting experience using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- 2+ years of working with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, AWS Code Pipeline, etc.
- 1+ year of hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve AWS Cloud-related issues.
- 2+ years of experience in deploying and supporting AWS-native applications.
- 1+ year of experience using AWS CDK to provision infrastructure as code (IaC).
Bachelor's Degree:
- In engineering or a related field.
