About This Role
Growing Sales and Market Share
We're seeking a skilled Client Account Manager to grow sales, increase market share, and sustain long-term profitability. As a key member of our Store Sales team, you'll contribute to and gain agreement on national sales budgets, profitability goals, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
Building Long-Lasting Relationships
You'll build strong relationships with local business customers, actively spreading awareness of IKEA as a brand and partner for business in the local market. Your goal is to create a seamless shopping experience for our customers, analyzing their needs and using that knowledge to improve their experience.
Presenting and Selling
You'll present and sell larger projects to customers and stakeholders, securing knowledge of our product range, services, and business-approved range. Your analytical skills will help you prioritize initiatives and improve performance, while your negotiation skills will ensure successful deal-making.
Cooperating with Stakeholders
You'll actively cooperate with key stakeholders within commercial and beyond, ensuring integration, common focus, and maximizing impact. This includes working with Customer Fulfilment, Commercial Activity Leader, Legal, Accounting, Business Navigation Operations & Finance, Home Furnishing & Retail Design, Digital, and Sustainability.
Leading Negotiations and Execution
You'll lead negotiations in finalizing terms and pricing for RFPs and other Key Account deals, following up on customer journeys and seeing projects to completion. You'll be responsible for overseeing the execution of won deals, coordinating and collaborating with coworkers to proactively manage the process and avert issues.
After-Sales Care and Sustainability
You'll lead after-sales care for key account deals, following up with help and information to secure long-term business relationships and an excellent customer experience. You'll also contribute to driving an open and sharing climate, being a role model of IKEA values, and contributing to the transformation of IKEA.

What You Bring
- Experience of working in a commercial or sales role in an organization
- Proven record of consistently meeting agreed budgets and goals
- Experience of using knowledge of customer shopping behavior to develop long-term strategic plans
- Negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and organize work
- Self-starting, self-reliant, and motivated
- Experience from retail, preferably home furnishing sector or B2B/KAM
Preferred from External
- Retail and home furnishing experience, planning complex solutions and designs or IKEA equivalent
- Work experience with interior design in a retail environment
