Job Summary:


The Hotel Reservation Coordinator is responsible for planning and coordinating room reservations, ensuring optimal room revenue, and maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency in the reservation department.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Plan and coordinate room reservations to maximize room revenue.
  • Utilize effective selling techniques and strategies to ensure optimal room occupancy.
  • Coordinate and manage all duties and responsibilities of the reservation department.
  • Ensure that all reservations are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Identify and implement cost-effective measures to optimize resource utilization.
  • Maintain and update corporate databases to ensure guest information and records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Provide effective support to the team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Respond to customer queries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure that all team members are trained on safety provisions and protocols.
  • Ensure that all reservations are created with special instructions for regular and VIP guests.
  • Monitor and adjust occupancy forecasts to ensure accurate positioning of the hotel.
  • Manage corporate account numbers and ensure accurate tracking of business generated through respective companies.
  • Calculate and manage overbooking.
  • Offer discounts and corporate rates as per company policy.
  • Supervise and delegate work to reservation associates.
