Job Title: Design Operations Leader

Job Description:

The role of a Design Operations Leader at an architectural firm involves providing design coordination, planning, and procurement support to clients in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

* Review and comment on drawings furnished by consultants
* Value engineering to optimize design and details from cost and safety parameters
* Coordinate with architects, services consultants, and other stakeholders
* Proficiency in handling AutoCAD drawings, including reading, writing, modifications, and changes
* Close interaction with internal teams, such as project management, contracts, engineers, and EHS
* Tracking design deliverables, including concept design, GFC drawings, technical specifications, and arranging design meetings for smooth coordination

Planning Related Responsibilities:

* Arranging and preparing MOMs (Meeting of Minutes)
* Preparing bar charts and manpower planning
* Material planning, DPR (Detailed Project Report), WPR (Works Progress Report), and MPR (Master Plan Report)
* Cashflow statement and tracking tools, such as S-curve and EV analysis
* Value engineering, risk log preparation, delay log, and preparing and maintaining documentation

Procurement Related Responsibilities:

* Reviewing tender documents and preparing query lists for clarification
* Preparing tender event schedules and prequalification reports for shortlisted vendors
* Issuing RFPs (Requests for Proposal) to vendors, commercial comparative reports, and negotiation with vendors
* Preparing draft work orders for finalized vendors

Requirements:

* At least 10-12 years of experience in construction project management for real estate sites
* Experience in high-end residential, hotel, and commercial projects is mandatory
