Position Name: Manager Site Manex
We are looking for an exceptional leader to spearhead our Manufacturing Excellence journey.
The ideal candidate will possess a Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree, with MS or MBA preferred.
With 5+ years of Consumer Goods manufacturing & Process Improvement experience, they will be well-equipped to drive process improvement initiatives and optimize cost, eliminate waste and improve operational flexibility.
The successful candidate will demonstrate thorough knowledge of Manufacturing Excellence principles and have strong influencing skills, persuading senior stakeholders using data that their improvement plans will deliver the correct results.
A strong focus on Process Improvement, Waste Reduction, Efficiency Optimization & Excellence Problem Solving Skills is essential in this role.
The right individual will effectively manage relationships, internal and external, to achieve world-class performance outcomes.
Demonstrating great leadership, they will drive people performance to consistently deliver results and sustain culture change.
This role involves developing and driving the implementation of the site ManEx master plan for IMFL packaging hall & departmental level.
As part of the site leadership team, setting objectives and priorities and leading the change management processes for the department is crucial.
Maintaining alignment between all parts of the site's supply chain by coordinating all departments to work together in ManEx deployment is also key.
Leading and supporting all departments in implementing MMS practices to meet their broad plans is another important responsibility.
This includes coaching managers to develop teams at all levels to produce performance results through the ManEx practices as part of the site steering committee and implementation task forces.
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrate managerial leadership to develop team against role capabilities.
- Ensure effective implementation of ManEx training & development programmes by aligning site /line management.
- Coordinate ManEx TOT and evaluation programmes to maintain consistency of approach and ensure alignment with Diageo Capability programme.
- Provide pert loss & waste leadership and coaching to operational teams.
- Participate in and lead as required improvement projects using the DMAIC methodology.
- Develop specific manufacturing performance improvement initiatives to optimize cost, eliminate waste and improve operational flexibility.
- Engage with the Daily Operational Review meetings to provide expert analysis of performance improvement opportunities.
