Business Development Director for Institutional Sales

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Director to lead our institutional sales efforts in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion in these regions.
Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity to join Wonderla Holidays Ltd., a leading amusement park chain in India. As a Business Development Director, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and negotiating agreements that drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities across institutional segments
- Achieve sales targets by acquiring new clients and expanding existing relationships
- Negotiate terms and agreements with clients to establish mutually beneficial partnerships
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials for each sales segment
- Explore upselling opportunities and additional revenue streams within each segment
- Participate in marketing events and exhibitions to promote the company's offerings
- Drive business expansion by identifying and developing sales in new markets
- Maintain a comprehensive database of prospective clients using CRM software
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market trends
- Proven experience in business development with a focus on institutional segments
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Effective team player with ability to collaborate across functions
- Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in IT tools
- Strong analytical skills and ability to prepare detailed reports
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated success in the Kerala market with a keen understanding of regional business dynamics
- Strong negotiation skills and passion for tailoring solutions to meet client needs
