Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic leader to join our team as a Program Director - Local Entrepreneurship (PD-LE). As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in executing our mission on the ground, overseeing the successful implementation of programs that foster mass entrepreneurship in Andhra Pradesh.

The PD-LE will be responsible for ensuring the impact and scale of our initiatives, blending strategic vision with execution excellence, driving programmatic success, cultivating partnerships, and energizing local ecosystems to support sustainable entrepreneurship development.

About the Role

The Program Director - Local Entrepreneurship (PD-LE) will lead our efforts in Andhra Pradesh, working closely with our central program office and state-specific partner ecosystem to design, build, and execute programs that promote mass entrepreneurship. You will work closely with diverse stakeholders, including government entities, donors, NGOs, and community partners, to align them around a common goal.

You will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing programs at the state level, ensuring efficient delivery and effective outcomes;
  • Cultivating partnerships with government agencies, donor organizations, academic institutions, and other stakeholders to drive policy development, research, and public-private partnerships focused on entrepreneurship and economic growth;
  • Developing and managing budgets for large-scale programs, ensuring financial management and operational efficiency;
  • Maintaining an active dialogue with partners and policymakers at the state level, contributing to bridging gaps between research, policy, and practice;
  • Building and leading teams, as well as developing capacity building models for partners, other critical stakeholders, and the community.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong track record of experience in socio-economic development, particularly in entrepreneurship or MSME sectors. A postgraduate degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Development Studies, or related disciplines is required. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills, as well as the ability to manage complex stakeholder environments.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is ₹60,00,000 - ₹80,00,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
