About the Role

Sigmoid enables business transformation using data and analytics, leveraging real-time insights to make accurate and fast business decisions. They build modern data architectures using cloud and open source technology.

Offices: New York | Dallas | San Francisco | Lima | Bengaluru

The below role is for our Bengaluru office.

  • This position pushes the boundaries of what is possible by combining technical expertise and creativity to tackle complex business problems.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Own & drive execution of the business-analytics roadmap by demonstrating techno-functional consulting & stakeholder management capabilities in collaboration with data science & engineering SMEs and teams.
  2. Lead client workshops where broad vision and ambiguous business problems are articulated to be solved through data science and AI.
  3. Define business problems concisely, consolidate findings and hypothesize proposed solutions. Measure and articulate how solutions and results improve clients' objectives.
  4. Liaise with customers and present solutions in an unstructured and ever-changing client environment. Independently question the customer when required.
  5. Contribute to organization building through training, mentoring, and developing repeatable analytic approaches.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Business consulting experience; experience around FP&A, Zero Base Budgeting and other related finance themes.
  • Proven exceptional problem-solving analytical skills with ability to blend creativity and logical thought to innovatively think through a problem and develop solutions.
  • Ability to develop and articulate strategic recommendations based on rigorous data analysis.
  • Experience in strategy and business/technology consulting roles conversant with process improvement, cost optimization, customer analytics and experience management, architecture assessments etc.
