Job Description:

Leverage your experience leading data engineering teams to drive innovation and collaboration across multiple geographies and time zones.

Maintain effective cross-team collaboration with architects, product managers, and operations to ensure seamless execution.

  • Cultivate expertise in scalable programming languages, big data processing frameworks, distributed storage systems, and migration strategies.
  • Design and develop ingestion, transformation, and enrichment pipelines for large-scale datasets using cloud-agnostic infrastructure principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive Innovation: Lead data engineering teams to foster a culture of innovation and collaboration across geographies and time zones.

Collaborate Effectively: Maintain strong relationships with architects, product managers, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.

Develop Expertise: Cultivate skills in Scala, Python, Apache Spark (batch & streaming), HDFS internals, migration strategies, and distributed blob storages like Ceph or AWS S3.

Design Pipelines: Develop ingestion, transformation, and enrichment pipelines for large-scale datasets using Terraform, Helm, and infrastructure-as-Code principles.
