Big Data Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Big Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, executing, and managing large and complex distributed data systems.

The successful candidate will have expertise in big data technologies (Apache Hadoop) and relational databases (MS SQL Server/Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL). They will also be proficient in at least one of the following programming languages: Java, Python, or Scala.

Apart from these technical skills, we are looking for a strong analytical and quantitative individual who can work with very large sets of data. Experience with integration of data across multiple data sources is essential.

In this role, you will design and implement scalable solutions to meet business requirements. You will also research and integrate new big data tools and frameworks as required.

Required Skills:
  • Experience in big data technologies (Apache Hadoop)
  • Relational database management system skills
  • Programming language skills (Java, Python, or Scala)

  • Distributed storage skills (HDFS/S3)
