We are a leading international logistics company seeking an exceptional Global Sales Director for Freight Forwarding to join our team in the United States.
Job Overview
The successful candidate will lead our sales efforts, develop and implement strategic plans to increase revenue and market share, and drive business growth in the Shipping and Logistics Freight Forwarding industry.
Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to meet individual and collective targets.
- Client Relationships: Identify new business opportunities, establish strong relationships with key accounts, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of sales plans.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth and optimize sales strategies.
- Reporting and Forecasting: Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in Sales within the Shipping and Logistics Freight Forwarding industry.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Proven track record in developing and executing successful sales strategies, with strong leadership and communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced with CRM software.
Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
