Warranty Recovery Claims Specialist

At AGCO, we're committed to helping farmers feed the world. As a Warranty Recovery Claims Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in our mission by ensuring that our suppliers are held accountable for warranty claims.

The primary focus of this position is the administration of the operational aspects of the Warranty Recovery enterprise, supporting the Commercial Recovery teams in their efforts to recover warranty claims from suppliers. You'll be responsible for performing end-to-end engagement with suppliers, including the creation and lifecycle management of supplier warranty claims, as well as providing concise reporting and data to the aligned warranty recovery commercial teams.

This position will utilize a suite of global warranty tools and systems to engage with suppliers, ensuring consistency across all dimensions of Warranty Recovery. You'll work closely with the Commercial Recovery Team to align and direct specific actions, tasks, and criteria for designated suppliers, including strategy, escalation, reporting, and KPI metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, batch, and submit warranty recovery claims to suppliers.
  • Ensure batch processes are functioning properly and supplier receives communications.
  • Review supplier responses received in system, via email, or other method of correspondence.
  • Investigate as necessary and respond to supplier requests for more information.
  • Manage supplier claim processing life cycle from claim generation to claim closure within an efficient turn time.
  • Maintain supplier response in recovery system on behalf of supplier utilizing various non-system supplier communications.
  • Address non-responsive suppliers by understanding issues, providing follow-up communication, and work with management to attain an agreeable solution.
  • Pro-actively review for data exceptions; dealer claims which did not generate supplier claims.
  • Set-up of escalation rules in warranty recovery system to assist in work flow and automation.
  • Maintain learning rules in APEX based on feedback from suppliers and commercial team.
  • Accountable for aging claim transactions and approved claims with open cash receipts.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • 3 years of experience in Durable Goods, Heavy Equipment, and/or Agriculture industry.
  • 2 years of experience in Supply Chain Practices and/or Commercial Negotiations.
  • Experience in successfully interfacing within a large Global enterprise across multiple support sites and functions.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • High competency in electronic business systems and tools.
  • Persistence to follow tasks to completion.
  • Robust Customer Service.
  • Problem Solving Skills - Dismissal from Suppliers to adjudicate Supplier Warranty Claims consistent with business expectations: Timing, use of UNITY portal, unresponsive, Warranty System functionality proves to have inefficiencies that require creative alternatives, Balance multiple tasks and urgencies dependent on Commercial team challenges.
