Senior Compensation Specialist

Seeking an experienced Payroll and Benefits Professional to manage compensation and benefits programs for US-based employees.
The ideal candidate will develop, administer, and optimize compensation structures, incentive programs, and benefits plans while ensuring compliance with federal and state labor laws.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately calculate salaries, process payments, and manage deductions for employees.
- Ensure timely and correct calculation and payment of all federal, state, and local payroll-related taxes.
- Manage employee benefits programs, such as health insurance and 401(k) retirement plans, including enrollment, deduction processing, and claims handling.
- Maintain meticulous payroll and benefits records, ensuring data accuracy and identifying any discrepancies.
- 3+ years of experience in processing payroll and benefits for US-based employees.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll and benefits laws and regulations.
- Experience with payroll and HR software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with employees, HR, and vendors.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to perform calculations, analyze financial data, and resolve discrepancies.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
- Collaborative work environment that values diverse perspectives and innovative solutions prioritizing workforce well-being and engagement.
- Occasional evening meetings to communicate effectively with US-based employees.
