Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Strategic Business Development Leader to join our team. This key role will be responsible for leading the development and execution of comprehensive account plans, leveraging proprietary tools and expertise to deliver results-driven solutions.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in policy communications, coalition building, and advocacy work. They will also have strong familiarity with Generative AI tools and their applications in communications programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Law, Economics, Public Policy, Political Science, Business & International Affairs, or Communications.
  • 10+ years of work experience in tech policy, FMCG policy, or related fields.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to coach and mentor junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Service: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of clients' businesses and industries, stay current on news, trends, and issues, and take an active interest in clients' businesses to pre-empt issues and provide strategic counsel.
  • Business Development: Work with senior leaders to identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and track potential opportunities for new business.
  • Talent Management: Coach, mentor, and delegate responsibilities to junior staff, helping them identify areas of development and consistently serving as a positive role model fostering teamwork.
