Key Responsibilities for Front Office Manager Role
About the PositionThis is an exciting opportunity to join our front office team as a manager.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of front desk agents, guest relations executives, concierge staff, and bell desk personnel. This includes implementing daily briefings, performance reviews, and grooming standards.
In addition, the manager will oversee the installation, testing, and go-live of front office systems, including PMS, telephony, key management, and mobile check-in.
They will also support mock drills and trial runs to prepare the department for operational readiness.
Guest Experience ManagementThe manager will ensure seamless check-in/check-out, VIP handling, and guest services are delivered with consistency and warmth.
They will handle guest complaints and service recovery proactively, maintaining high satisfaction scores.
Personally welcoming dignitaries, VIPs, repeat guests, and corporate partners is also a key responsibility.
Team Leadership & TrainingLeading and developing the team to meet business objectives is crucial in this role.
The manager will coordinate with HR and L&D to drive continuous learning, cross-training, and career development plans.
Operational Excellence & ReportingMaintaining accurate cash handling, billing, night audit, and guest folio management is essential in this position.
Monitoring daily occupancy, arrivals/departures, and group movement to ensure manpower and operational readiness is also a key responsibility.
The manager will maintain departmental budgets and cost controls.
Interdepartmental CoordinationLiaising closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, F&B, and Security to ensure a seamless guest experience is critical.
The manager will collaborate with Sales & Reservations for group check-ins, room blocks, and special requests.
