Job Title:

Senior Data Governance Professional

Job Description:

You will play a pivotal role ensuring data quality across all domains, which directly influences patients using life-saving products. Key tasks include managing business and technical metadata, and ensuring data is Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR).

As a Senior Data Governance Professional, you will:

  • Manage business and technical metadata to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.
  • Implement and manage metadata processes to enhance data discoverability in our Data Marketplace.
  • Develop and maintain standards for data quality metrics and monitor performance.
  • Support initiatives, such as configuring data quality rules, executing data quality checks, and analyzing results to improve data quality and resolve issues.
  • Document and register data access rules for data products in our Data Marketplace.
  • Assist in designing and implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data stewardship and ownership roles.
  • Support the establishment and maintenance of master data and reference data management processes for consistent use across the organization.
  • Utilize Collibra for data governance activities and train teams to enhance data governance initiatives.
  • Project manage data governance projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 7-11 years of professional experience in a data governance role.
  • Proficiency in using Collibra Data Catalog for data governance activities.
  • Expertise in metadata management and implementing metadata cataloging processes.
  • Proven experience in supporting the design and implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience in master and reference data management and collaborating with business units.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including conducting training sessions and presenting reports to senior management.
