Job Title: Data Governance Specialist

This is a key role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of master data across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have experience in SAP ECC, master data management, data governance, or data operations. A bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform data maintenance and validation tasks to ensure the accuracy and consistency of material and production master data.
  • Support data operations including cleansing, enrichment, and governance activities.
  • Assist in process optimization initiatives aimed at enhancing data workflows and improving operational efficiency.
  • Learn and support data analysis tasks to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide assistance to internal stakeholders and end-users regarding data tools, best practices, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain and update data quality reports to support compliance, governance, and audit readiness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business, IT, and operations teams to resolve data-related issues and align with company-wide goals.
  • Participate in data migration and integration activities as part of broader digital transformation efforts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
  • 1–3 years of experience in SAP ECC, master data management, data governance, or data operations.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Basic understanding of data governance frameworks and compliance standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of SAP/Oracle systems and their application in material and production master data.
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4, SAP MDG, and SAP TM.
  • Hands-on experience with data management tools such as Informatica.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to explain data insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
