Senior Service Technician Role

We are seeking a Senior Service Technician to join our team. As a senior member of our service staff, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating service activities and providing training to junior technicians.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years working experience in a related support service field and possess strong knowledge of accounting applications such as CCH Engagement, Thomson GoSystem Tax, XCM, TaxCaddy and SurePrep.

  • Achieve high-quality results through the effective use of resources, efficient planning and timely execution of tasks.
  • Develop and maintain technical skills by participating in training programs, workshops, and conferences.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.

As a Senior Service Technician, you will work closely with other IT staff to acquire additional technical and non-technical knowledge while maintaining ITSM KB of problems and accompanying resolutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in overseeing and coordinating service staff activities and services as needed.
  • Provide assistance and training to other Service Technicians in solving more advanced Team Member problems and inquiries.
  • Refer problems and inquiries to more experienced technical staff or leadership, if necessary, once all due diligence is performed.
  • Analyze and verify statistical information within the ITSM tool to ensure the accuracy of reports and data integrity.
