Senior Audience Development Director

This is a senior leadership role that requires strong operational expertise, strategic vision and proven ability to drive attendance growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing audience acquisition strategies for online & offline events, conferences and campaigns across industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audience Acquisition & Event Marketing
    • Develop and execute audience acquisition strategies using multi-channel outreach including email/SMS campaigns, social media, tele-calling, affiliates and database marketing.
    • Build and maintain high-quality B2B databases ensuring accurate targeting and segmentation for campaigns.
    • Drive consistent audience growth with measurable improvement in attendee conversion and retention.
  • Event & Campaign Operations
    • Lead end-to-end execution of multiple events simultaneously from planning to delivery.
    • Collaborate with business teams, vendors and partners to ensure smooth event operations and logistics.
    • Implement data-driven strategies to track and measure event success including ROI, conversion and customer engagement.
  • Stakeholder & Client Management
    • Manage senior client relationships ensuring impeccable service delivery and resolution of escalations.
    • Partner with sponsors, partners and CXO-level executives to build strategic alliances and long-term engagement.
  • Leadership & Team Development
    • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of managers, analysts and operations professionals.
    • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture ensuring employee growth and retention.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 12+ years of experience in audience acquisition, event operations, campaign management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven track record of driving audience acquisition for large-scale conferences, webinars, forums or brand campaigns.
  • Strong expertise in multi-channel marketing including email, SMS, social media and digital campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience in P&L management and ROI tracking.
  • Exceptional leadership, team management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong analytical ability and comfort with CRM tools and data analytics.
