Land Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Acquisition Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and acquiring suitable land parcels for renewable energy projects in India.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Land Identification: Identify potential land parcels that meet the required criteria, including technical feasibility, connectivity, and regulatory clearances.
  • Negotiation and Documentation: Lead the end-to-end land acquisition process, including negotiation with landowners, preparation of agreements to sale, lease deeds, power of attorney, and land maps.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with local landowners, agents, revenue officials, district-level authorities, and government departments.
  • Title Due Diligence: Conduct thorough title due diligence to ensure legal sanctity of land through coordination with legal teams.
  • RoW Acquisition: Oversee Right of Way (RoW) acquisition, mutation, land conversion, and compliance with state-specific renewable energy policies.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Ensure clear documentation, including agreements to sale, lease deeds, power of attorney, and land maps, while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
Requirements:
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Effective communication and negotiation skills to work with various stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of land acquisition processes, renewable energy policies, and related laws.
