Culinary Team Lead

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for leading a team of cooks in the kitchen, ensuring that food is prepared to the highest standards, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Train and supervise kitchen staff to achieve high-quality food preparation.
• Ensure personal cleanliness and proper deportment of all team members.
• Maintain a high level of food quality, taste, temperature, and visual appeal.
• Ensure that all equipment and perishable items are stored properly and in a hygienic manner.
• Prevent the use of contaminated products and ensure colleagues follow hygiene procedures.
• Work closely with the Executive Steward to maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Ensure adherence to safety, health, security, and loss control policies.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Stay well-versed in hotel fire and life safety/emergency procedures.
• Apply necessary precautions regarding hotel food safety and hygiene standards.
• Attend all briefings, meetings, and trainings assigned by management.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by management.
