About the Role

This position requires a skilled system administrator with a background in Linux server operations and virtualization.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving and delivering key organizational strategic initiatives, fostering a collaborative environment, and delivering high-quality results in a matrixed organizational structure.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in Linux servers service delivery and operations.
  • Experience with virtualization (VMware, Nutanix).
  • Basic scripting knowledge (Shell scripts, Python, Ansible).
  • Familiarity with ITIL or incident management workflows.
  • Change management expertise.
Bonus Skills

The following skills are not required but would be beneficial:

  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
  • Interest in automation tools and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Exposure to monitoring tools (Dynatrace).
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools (Red Hat Satellite Server, Ansible).
Certifications

A professional certification such as Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) is highly desirable.
