Job Title: Senior Linux Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Senior Linux Administrator to join our team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining RHEL or RHEL-based distros like CentOS, Rocky Linux, or Alma Linux. They will also set up local file systems, shared file systems, and maintain them, including troubleshooting any issues related to them. Additionally, the candidate should have a good understanding of Linux networking, including setting up network interfaces, routing, firewalls (iptables), and troubleshooting network issues at the OS level.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Zabbix, Prometheus, SolarWinds, and ticketing tools like JIRA, GitHub/GitLab issues. They should also possess the ability to understand new concepts and technologies quickly and have good troubleshooting and analyzing skills to work with minimum supervision.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Linux Administration: Good knowledge in Linux Administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of RHEL or RHEL-based distros like CentOS, Rocky Linux, or Alma Linux.
  • File Systems: Good knowledge in setting up local file systems, shared file systems, and maintaining them, including troubleshooting any issues related to them.
  • Linux Networking: Good understanding of Linux networking, including setting up network interfaces, routing, firewalls (iptables), and troubleshooting network issues at the OS level.
  • Monitoring Tools: Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like Zabbix, Prometheus, SolarWinds.
