Job Description:

This is a key position for a Linux system administrator who will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company's Linux systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux system administration, with experience in managing system services, performing system monitoring, and automating routine tasks using shell scripting or configuration management tools.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Linux system administration or a similar role
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Linux distributions (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian)
  • Proficiency in managing system services and performing system monitoring using tools like Nagios, Prometheus, or Zabbix
  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Perl for automation and troubleshooting
