Job Summary: To drive growth of Distribution Sales through Channel partners for Power Tools & Industrial Lifting business in assigned territories.

Responsibilities:

  • Account planning & execution using CRM tools.
  • Manage enquiry pipeline, booking forecast, and generate new opportunities for profitable growth.
  • Review channel partner performance on a monthly basis and make necessary changes to ensure consistent monthly order booking against assigned targets.
  • Closely track dealer inventory levels, including spares parts, to ensure alignment with objectives to serve customers.
  • Evaluate performance of existing Channel Partners and appoint new ones to cover white spaces after territory mapping.
  • Develop, expand, and sustain healthy and strategic relationships with customers.
  • Conduct regular product demo/trial sessions to promote products.
  • Understand customer requirements and arrange to submit techno-commercial proposals accordingly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales support, customer experience, and project management, to meet customer expectations.
  • Explore business opportunities by identifying prospective customers and evaluating their industry position.
  • Get information about competition initiatives and seek support from internal stakeholders to counter competition.
  • Facilitate issue resolution and improve customer satisfaction experience.
  • Support account receivables.

KPI's

  • Achievement of Booking & Revenue AOP.
  • Generate weekly enquiries through joint visits to customers with channel partners.
  • Increase footprint expansion by adding new channel partners/customers and increasing business from existing customers.
  • Ensure sufficient opportunities in pipeline, reduced forecast deviation, and increased win rate.
  • Review channel partner hit rate against submitted quotes every month.
  • Good data analysis skills.
  • Month-on-month achievement of AOP target.

Skills Required

1. Bachelor or Master in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering. MBA is an added advantage.

2. 7-10 years of relevant experience in selling Industrial products/projects and Indirect Sales (Channel Sales) especially in Motor Vehicle & General Industries.

3. Strong knowledge about customer spread in the territory.

4. Excellent interpersonal, relationship building, presentation, and communication skills.

5. Result-oriented and self-driven.

6. Proficient in MS Office: MS-Word, MS Excel, PPT.

7. Integrity and ownership mindset.

8. Willing to travel for around 50% of the time.
