Industrial Sales Manager

Job Summary: As a Sales Manager at Ingersoll Rand, you will be responsible for driving growth of Distribution Sales through Channel partners for Power Tools & Industrial Lifting business in assigned territories. Your primary goal will be to implement and execute strategies to achieve monthly order booking targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute account plans using CRM tools to maximize sales potential.
- Manage enquiry pipeline, booking forecast, and generate new opportunities for profitable growth.
- Review channel partner performance on a monthly basis and make necessary changes to ensure consistent monthly order booking against assigned targets.
- Closely monitor dealer inventory levels, including spare parts, to ensure alignment with company objectives.
- Evaluate performance of existing Channel Partners and appoint new Channel Partners to cover white spaces after proper territory mapping.
- Develop and sustain healthy and strategic relationships with Customers.
- Conduct regular product demo/trial sessions to promote our products.
- Understand customer requirements and submit techno-commercial proposals accordingly.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales support, customer experience, and project management, to meet customer expectations.
- Explore business opportunities by identifying prospective customers and evaluating their position in the industry.
- Stay informed about competition initiatives and seek support from internal stakeholders to counter competition.
- Facilitate issue resolution and improve Customer Satisfaction Experience.
- Support account receivables.
KPI's:
- Achievement of Booking & Revenue AOP.
- Generate weekly enquiries through joint visits to customers with channel partners.
- Increase footprint expansion by adding new channel partners/customers and increasing business from existing customers.
- Ensure sufficient opportunities in pipeline, reduced forecast deviation, and increased win rate.
- Review hit rate of channel partners against submitted quotes every month.
- Good data analysis skills.
- Month-on-month achievement of AOP target.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor or Master's degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering. MBA is an added advantage.
2. 7-10 years of relevant experience in selling Industrial products/projects and Indirect Sales (Channel Sales), especially in Motor Vehicle & General Industries.
3. Strong knowledge about customer spread in the territory.
4. Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, presentation, and communication skills.
5. Result-oriented and self-driven.
6. Proficient in MS Office: MS-Word, MS Excel, PPT.
7. Integrity and ownership mindset.
8. Willing to travel for around 50% of the time.
