About the Position:

We are seeking a driven Business Development Professional to spearhead growth in commercial and industrial sectors through renewable energy solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing business opportunities with clients, ensuring revenue growth and long-term partnerships.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential clients for third-party and captive renewable energy solutions.
  • Develop strategic sales plans to achieve business targets.
  • Build a strong pipeline of potential clients and drive deal closures.
  • Presentation of competitive business proposals.

Customer Engagement and Relationship Building:

  • Establish strong relationships with key decision-makers in target companies.
  • Conduct market research to understand client energy needs and align solutions accordingly.
  • Negotiation and finalization of long-term Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with customers.

Market Analysis:

  • Stay updated on market trends, industry policies, and regulatory frameworks affecting commercial and industrial renewable energy.
  • Engage with government bodies, DISCOMs, and regulatory authorities for approvals and compliance.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Work closely with internal teams including finance, legal, and operations to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Coordinate with EPC partners, developers, and consultants for project feasibility and execution.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10-12 years of experience in business development/sales in the renewable energy sector, preferably in C&I sales.
  • Strong understanding of third-party/captive power models, open access policies, and PPA structures.
  • Proven track record of closing deals and meeting revenue targets.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of solar, wind, and hybrid renewable energy solutions.
  • Experience working with corporate clients across various industries.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
