Project Financial Modelling Specialist

The role of a Project Financial Modelling Specialist is to design and develop comprehensive financial models for solar PV and energy storage projects. Key responsibilities include evaluating Requests for Proposals (RFPs), collating inputs from various teams, and supporting project development, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) teams in running case runs and scenarios.

  • Develop and maintain accurate and reliable financial models for solar PV and energy storage projects
  • Evaluate RFPs to gather relevant assumptions and populate them into the financial model
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to obtain necessary inputs for the financial model
  • Support EPC and project finance teams in running scenario analysis and case studies
  • Collaborate with junior modellers and train them on financial modelling best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting from a reputable institution
  2. At least 10 years of experience in building and developing financial models for project finance transactions
  3. Proven expertise in solar/renewable energy projects, with at least 4-5 years of hands-on experience in financial modelling
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
  5. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with cross-functional teams
