Project Financial Manager: We seek an experienced cost analyst for a challenging role in our EPC project finance team.

This is a key position requiring a strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and variance reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing project costs to ensure alignment with budgets and provide recommendations for cost reduction and optimization.

The successful project financial manager will also be responsible for monitoring progress and providing regular financial reports to the management team.

  • Financial Analysis and Budgeting: Analyze and report on project costs to ensure alignment with budgets.
  • Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Track progress and update percentage-of-completion calculations as per IFRS 15.
  • Contract and Cost Compliance: Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and project-specific financial regulations.
  • Inventory and Procurement Cost Management: Work with procurement to control and analyze material and service costs.
  • Risk Management and Cost Optimization: Identify potential risks related to project costs and recommend strategies for cost reduction.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of all IFRS, particularly IFRS 15 (Revenue from Contracts with Customers), IFRS 9, IFRS 16 and IAS 16.
  • Understanding of EPC project lifecycle, cost drivers, and risks.
  • Experience with project management and accounting software (SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong skills in financial analysis, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Ability to present financial information and insights effectively to management.
