Job Role: Construction Cost Manager

Civil engineers with 5+ years of experience in construction cost management are required to oversee the financial aspects of building projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and problem-solving skills, detailed understanding of systems and construction processes, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in relevant software.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine project scope and validate technical specifications from design teams.
  • Optimize specifications without deviating from client requirements.
  • Validate bill of quantities (BOQs) and prepare solutions for management approval.
  • Check and verify RA bills and final bills.
  • Prepare amendments and validate budget cost analysis based on benchmark cost matrix.
  • Submit different budget options considering alternative solutions to actual designs.
  • Explore new products and obtain approvals.
  • Propose optimization options in budgets and complete budget requirements within given timelines.
  • Prepare reports on cost analysis of projects as per management requirements.
