Job Title: Fixed Income Portfolio Manager

About this Role:

This is an opportunity for a self-driven, financially skilled individual with an eye for banking to work on various financial projects.

  • Calculating Yield to Maturity (YTM) and assessing returns on different types of fixed-income securities.
  • Determining Present Value (PV) of securities and assessing market pricing strategies.
  • Comparing investment options such as corporate bonds, fixed deposits, and mutual funds.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis and Modelling: Developing financial models in Excel, Python, or R to assess risk and return metrics. Implementing AI-driven approaches for analyzing credit risk and probability of default. Working on Value at Risk (VaR) simulations and machine learning models for risk assessment.

Debt Market and Credit Research: Analyzing corporate bond spreads, relative valuations, and structured finance instruments. Conducting data cleaning and visualization for sovereign credit research and CDS time series data. Assisting in the structuring and evaluation of project finance and asset-backed securities.

Technology and Automation in Finance: Understanding Microsoft Excel AI tools for financial modelling. Developing and testing AI models for credit derivatives and portfolio risk assessment. Working on FinTech tools like Virtual Risk Analyser and Virtual Portfolio Analyser.

Qualifications:

Any academic discipline is eligible for this position.
