Finance Systems Specialist

We are seeking an exceptional professional to join our team as a Finance Systems Specialist. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires the ability to collaborate closely with our Finance team, enhance financial systems, implement ERP solutions, and build Power BI dashboards for real-time financial reporting and decision-making.

About the Role

This key position will be responsible for collaborating with the Finance team to translate business requirements into system solutions, designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards for MIS, financial performance, and operational KPIs, leading or supporting ERP implementation projects, ensuring smooth integration with finance processes, managing finance system-related implementations and enhancements, ensuring compliance with internal controls, providing system support, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with vendors or IT for resolution, documenting workflows, processes, and technical specifications, and training Finance team members on new tools, reports, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to translate business requirements into system solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards for MIS, financial performance, and operational KPIs.
  • Lead or support ERP implementation projects, ensuring smooth integration with finance processes.
  • Manage finance system-related implementations and enhancements, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
  • Provide system support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors or IT for resolution.
  • Document workflows, processes, and technical specifications.
  • Train Finance team members on new tools, reports, and processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in finance systems, ERP implementation, and reporting solutions.
  • Strong expertise in Power BI (DAX, data modeling, visualization, report automation).
  • Proven track record in ERP implementation (SAP / Oracle / Microsoft Dynamics / similar).
  • Knowledge of finance system implementations and integration with accounting processes.
  • Good understanding of financial reporting, MIS, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally.
Preferred Experience:
  • Prior experience in a law firm, professional services, or consulting environment.
  • Exposure to automation of finance workflows and process improvements.
  • Experience working with SQL or other data sources for reporting.
