Senior Placement Strategist

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our placement and corporate relations function. The ideal candidate will possess a robust corporate network, drive impactful results, and be instrumental in forging and sustaining relationships with top-tier recruiters.

  • Key Responsibilities
    • Talent Acquisition & Development
      • Develop strategic placement initiatives that align with the institution's vision and market trends.
    • Corporate Partnerships
      • Foster and maintain partnerships with leading companies for placements, internships, and live projects.
      • Organize industry conclaves, guest lectures, and other corporate interactions to enhance engagement.
    • Placement Operations
      • Oversee the entire placement process from pre-placement talks to final offers.
    • Student Enablement
      • Collaborate with faculty and training partners to equip students with industry-ready skills.
      • Mentor students on career choices, profile building, and industry expectations.
    • Alumni Engagement
      • Leverage the alumni network for placement support, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
    • Performance Analysis
      • Track placement metrics, prepare reports, and present insights to leadership.

Quantitative Targets:

  • Place 360 students for final placements and 360 students for summer internships.
  • Increase the median salary compared to the previous year.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

  • Postgraduate degree (preferably an MBA or equivalent) from a reputable institution.
  • 10+ years of experience in corporate relations, placements, business development, or HR.
  • Strong network across various industries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A strategic thinker with a result-driven approach.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
