Investment Opportunities

We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Manager to join our team. As an Investment Manager, you will play a critical role in developing and executing investment strategies that drive business growth.

  • Develop thorough understanding of client's proposition, geography, various sectors, business strengths of the region, tax benefits for an investor, policies, and compliances.
  • Manage complete Investment Promotion project of client geographies (Economic Development Organisations)
  • Conduct evaluation meetings with Indian companies/conglomerates
  • Engage in discussions with CXOs of Indian companies and develop understanding of their expansion plans in various international markets.
  • Identify companies with business interests to invest/expand in international markets and generate leads.
Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Interact with overseas companies/consultants via various modes of communication like email, telephonic interviews, participating in seminars/networking events, and meetings to understand their expansion plans.
  • Identify opportunities for clients.
  • Presentation of client's geography as potential business location for company's expansion plans.
  • Analysis and formulation of reports from data/information gathered from interactions and meetings.
  • Engagement with client, management of delegation visits, client visits, virtual webinars, investors road shows for client accounts.
  • Writing proposals, business plan, and analysis.
  • Setting up meetings with CXO level executives of qualified companies.
  • Preparation and delivery of presentations on research findings and trends on cross-border investments, Foreign Direct Investments (FDI) to clients.
  • Regular updates provided to overseas clients through projects.
  • Preparation and delivery of presentations on client's geography and proposition to international companies.
  • Management of junior team members and mentoring them through process.
  • Authorship of reports containing actionable recommendations.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Minimum 3-4 years in Trade promotion bodies/Expert Network/Trade & Investment Promotion/Investment Attraction/SME-Corporate Banking/Economic Development/Market Entry with experience in business development and handling overseas clients.
  • Strong industry expertise and networks.
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English is must.
  • Understanding of Market Entry, Cross-Border Investments, Internationalization via International market expansion.
  • Experience of New Business Development and Client Handling.
Qualifications

Candidates should have:

  • Bachelors in any discipline, preference for Masters in fields of Economics, Finance, International Business (other disciplines will be considered where candidates can demonstrate core skills required).
  • Demonstrated ability to work inter-team, collaborate, ideate, engage with clients, and work in global teams.
