Job Purpose

The Reservations Executive will be responsible for ensuring optimal room occupancy and revenue growth. This individual will oversee the reservations department, maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency in all duties and responsibilities.

**Key Responsibilities**
• Liaise with Sales & Marketing team and Front Office Team
• Identify optimal cost-effective use of resources and educate the team on the same
• Maintain and update the corporate database, ensuring guest information records are kept up to date and accurate for future events
• Ensure accurate positioning of the hotel in terms of occupancy and rooms availability
• Ensure the corporate account number is recorded on the Guest Folio to help monitor quantum of business generated through respective companies

Business and Operational Responsibilities
• Assist in the development of occupancy forecasts for the annual budget
• Handle additional responsibilities as and when delegated by the Management

Team Management
• Provide effective support to the team to enable them to provide effective and efficient services
• Respond to customer queries by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction

General Duty
• Leadership skills that utilize persuasion and motivation to attain organizational goals are the most desirable management quality
• Ability to accept responsibility

Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the same position
• Guest-focused personality is essential
• Prior experience working with Opera or a related system experience is an asset
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus point
