Job Description

The Deputy Manager - Risk Management position is responsible for overseeing all operational activities within the Enterprise Risk Management function.

This role involves preparing and implementing a comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management framework across the organization, identifying control weaknesses and deficiencies, and developing recommendations for risk mitigation and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement robust internal control systems to mitigate risks effectively.
  • Identify, evaluate, and document control weaknesses and deficiencies, and develop actionable recommendations for risk mitigation and improvement.
  • Regularly update Risk Registers (RCSA) to reflect changing regulatory and strategic scenarios.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of business processes to identify control gaps and deficiencies, and develop recommendations for risk mitigation and improvement.
  • Assist Principal Risk Owners in identifying key risks and mitigating controls in their business units, as well as action plans to address gaps in mitigating measures.
  • Prepare detailed reports for the Risk Committee, Executive Management Team, and Board Committees.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate degree in finance, management, or risk management from a reputable institution. Preferred certifications include FRM, CFA, CBCP, and similar qualifications.

  • Knowledge of risk and governance standards such as COSO framework and Basel Corporate Governance Principles.
