Market Risk Manager

This role involves managing specialized risk management functions within an enterprise's risk management practice. Key responsibilities include:

  • Establish policies and guidelines for enhanced monitoring of Treasury/Investment/ALM/Liquidity risk.
  • Value Treasury portfolios, including Forex, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Equity, and other assets.
  • Provide independent mid-office monitoring support for Non-Performing Loans (NPL), Fixed Income, Financial Institutions Group (FIG), Derivatives, limit monitoring, etc.
  • Maintain periodic hedge effectiveness analysis.
  • Implement and calculate Capital charge and Counterparty Risk Charge.
  • Analyze Equities, Bonds, and Money market funds using technical methods.
  • Monitor limits related to treasury activities according to internal and regulatory policies.
  • Reconcile MTM with counterparty banks for derivatives deals and make/respond to margin calls under CSA arrangements.
  • Prepare daily and periodical reports and Board notes for accurate and timely submission.
  • Enhance methodologies for counterpart credit risk measures like Potential Future Exposure (PFE) and Credit Valuation Adjustment (CVA).
  • Periodically review new products related to Market risk and suggest risk mitigation controls.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate liquidity and interest rate risks.
  • Collaborate with the ALM team to monitor and simulate Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR)/Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR).
  • Set limits for Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) Long Term (MAL) / Short-Term (SAL) using statistical modeling techniques.
  • Conduct stress testing of Liquidity and Interest rate risk.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Develop a deep understanding of ICAAP, RAROC, FTP methodologies, and RAS.

Requires 6-8 years of relevant work experience in a bank.
