Job Title: Risk Assessment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Risk Assessment Specialist to analyze risk factors associated with businesses and create customized insurance policies. This key role involves evaluating risk factors, tailoring policy terms, and collaborating with underwriters at various insurance companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate risk factors and assess potential risks for businesses.
  • Create customized insurance policies by adding or removing covers, riders, or endorsements.
  • Coordinate with underwriters at multiple insurance companies to obtain quotes and underwriting decisions.
  • Ensure timely follow-up on approvals, reinsurance support (if required), and final underwriting clearance.
  • Verify all necessary documents from clients (KYC, proposal forms, declarations, etc.).
  • Stay updated on underwriting guidelines, product circulars, and compliance requirements.
  • Effectively communicate underwriting requirements, terms, exclusions, and conditions to clients.
  • Support the sales team by providing underwriting guidance and clarification.
  • Address client inquiries related to risk approvals or policy issuance delays.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of underwriting principles and practices.
