
Government & Public Sector Sales Executive

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Professional to join our team as a Public Sector Account Executive. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about delivering results-driven sales strategies and building long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
About the RoleThis role will be responsible for defining and executing sales plans to meet and exceed quota through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities within the Government and Public Sector domain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in technology SaaS sales, with a strong ability to translate IT pain into business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage sales pipelines to move strategic transactions through the sales process, resulting in increased revenue growth.
- IDentify and close new opportunities for growth within targeted Fortune 500 accounts.
- Present solutions within complex data center design environments, driving sales conversations and deal closure.
- Cosell and strategize with partners, distributors, and VARs to enable rapid growth and expand market presence.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 12 years of successful sales experience in technology SaaS sales, with a proven ability to translate IT pain into business outcomes.
- Tenure in the region, with proven success in Government and Public Sector customers, channels, and tech partners.
- A driven mindset, with a need for success and continuous improvement.
- A proven 'hunter' approach, with a strategic methodology and passion for selling.
- Experience in achieving consistent over-achievement of sales goals in a large geographic territory.
- An entrepreneurial spirit, with a willingness to go the extra mile, strong work ethic, resourcefulness, and a 'get it done' attitude.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Understanding and utilization of sales methodologies, such as MEDDPICC and Command of Message.
