Role Overview:

We're seeking a dedicated professional to lead our user retention efforts.

This hands-on role requires a data-driven marketer who can develop and execute proactive campaigns to prevent user churn and re-activate lapsed listeners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Churn Prevention Strategies:
    • Identify Churn Signals: Collaborate with the data team to leverage predictive models and analysis to pinpoint listeners at risk of disengagement.
    • Design & Launch 'Save' Campaigns: Develop and execute targeted campaigns triggered by at-risk behavior.
  • Lapsed User Reactivation:
    • Own Win-Back Campaigns: Craft and manage end-to-end strategies for bringing back former subscribers.
    • Craft Irresistible Win-Back Hooks: Test compelling offers and hyper-personalized content to find the perfect reason for a listener to return.
    • Test and Learn Rigorously: A/B test offers, messaging, and channels to build a playbook of cost-effective methods for reactivating different user cohorts.
  • Analytics & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Measure What Matters: Own and report on key performance indicators for your domain, translating data into actionable insights.
    • Provide Clear Data Insights: Offer qualitative data on why users are leaving, helping prioritize roadmap features that address core churn drivers.
    • Partner with Core Retention: Ensure seamless user experiences by aligning 'save' messages with engagement messages.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of experience in churn management, user reactivation, or save strategies.
  • Innovative Problem-Solver: Think creatively, challenge assumptions, and develop industry-leading churn-mitigation strategies.
  • Hands-On Campaign Execution: Build, launch, and optimize campaigns using marketing automation platforms.
  • Analytically Sharp: Fluency in digging through data and strong proficiency with SQL and product analytics tools.
  • A Passion for Music is Key: Understand what makes listeners stay and craft resonant campaigns.
