Role – Revenue Optimization Specialist

Designation – Senior Manager

Location – Mumbai Or Delhi

Experience – 5-10 years

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze short- and long-term forecasting, Analyze trends in group inventories & rates to include occupancy, goals, product line and strategic sales goals.
  • Analyze and monitor marketing channels, key and other account production. Ensure that all major channels of distribution effectively support the product and maintain rate parity.
  • Review future booking & evaluate trends
  • Update all channels of distribution as needed with rate or inventory restrictions.
  • Develop region-specific strategies to ensure growth. Establish appropriate goals and benchmarks to effectively measure performance.
  • Monitor and analyze the competition weekly through various channels, internet, news reports to identify selling strategies and emerging trends.
  • Explore and provide variations in the market mix which would stimulate additional revenue without increasing costs.
  • Maintain software programs contributing to revenue management.
  • Implement Revenue Management basics and standards. Automate and streamline consultations as well as document action plans.
  • Foster a culture of Revenue Management throughout all departments.
  • Develop succession planning for Revenue Management talent
Requirements:
  • Hold MBA / Post Graduate in Finance & Revenue Management preferred.
  • A minimum of ten years experience with travel / airline/ hotel industry & with three to five years in Revenue Management.
