About the Role
  • This role plays a vital part in our organization's digital transformation by spearheading Release Management and DevOps initiatives.
  • We're looking for an experienced professional who can drive automation-driven delivery pipelines, ensure timely and quality delivery of releases, and maintain release calendars.
Key Responsibilities
  • Release Management:
    • Plan, schedule, and execute software releases across multiple environments.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and minimize disruption.
    • Maintain accurate release calendars and track progress.
  • Change Request (CR) Management:
    • Create, track, and manage CRs through their entire lifecycle.
    • Collaborate with business and technical teams to assess impact and risk.
    • E nsure compliance with governance and audit requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination:
    • Act as a liaison between development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams.
    • Foster open communication and resolve conflicts.
    • Ensure smooth delivery through effective coordination.
  • DevOps & Automation:
    • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps.
    • Monitor and optimize deployment processes for scalability and reliability.
    • Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
    Requirements
    • Experience:
      • Minimum 5 years of experience in Release Management, DevOps, or a related field.
    • Skillset:
      • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and release management processes.
      • Expertise in automation tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and Azure DevOps.
      • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
    • Education:
      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
