About the Role

  • We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Lead to oversee the testing and validation of software applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate software requirements and collaborate with the development team to ensure high-quality output.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, working closely with Leads/Managers to deliver results.
  • Implement quality assurance best practices across projects, driving excellence in software development.
  • Analyze and develop complex test data sets to guarantee thorough testing.
  • Select test cases for automation and create automated test scripts using Selenium and BDD frameworks.
  • Report defects and work with developers to resolve issues promptly.
  • Prepare and present test reports to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Mentor junior software test engineers, contributing to their growth and professional development.
  • Collaborate with product developers, managers, and engineering peers to drive solution development, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Implement or adhere to coding standards and best practices, maintaining the highest level of quality.
  • E nsure that quality checks and agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) / Turn-Around Times (TATs) are consistently met.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in Software Testing – Manual & Automation and Quality Assurance practice.
  • Proven expertise in performing different types of functional and non-functional testing, with exposure to trade finance platforms and web application testing.
  • Familiarity with design and development of Test Automation Frameworks, as well as Quality Assurance methodologies and REST APIs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong track record of delivering excellent results to internal or external clients.

Preferred Skills

  • Financial Services knowledge and ability to work with minimal supervision, multitasking under tight deadlines.
  • Proven analytical and creative thinking abilities, with a strong understanding of configuration management and version control.

Education

  • B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.

Software Skills

  • Selenium Webdrivers, TestNG, MySQL, and SQL server.

Other Requirements

  • Ability to adapt to changes in requirements, learn new tools, and practices, and describe how one's work fits into the bigger picture.
