Maximize Market Opportunities in India as a Regional Sales Director

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our commercial efforts across the region in India. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of maximizing market opportunities and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Business Strategies for API Growth
  • Contribute to Global Accounts Growth Objectives
  • Determine Account Strategies and Build Wallet Share for Biocon API Business

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating consultative selling approaches to identify customer supply chain challenges and develop value-creating solutions.

They will also interact with regular customers to ensure continuity of existing businesses from order receipt to shipment dispatch.

In addition, they will coordinate with production, logistics, and shipping teams to ensure timely dispatch and documentation.

Other responsibilities include managing business development activities to add new customers and increase market coverage.

Finally, they will provide market research and intelligence to support future export strategies.

Qualifications:

  • 15-20 years industry experience in API Sales and BD (India focus)
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and Leadership Qualities
  • Excellent Communication, Negotiation, and Presentation Techniques
  • Sales, Customer Psychology, and Purchasing Pattern Expertise
