About the Role

The EUS Support Engineer is responsible for delivering high-quality IT service support to internal customers, ensuring the smooth operation of the IT workplace and associated infrastructure at local sites and for remote employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide site-specific and remote IT service support, focusing on the IT workplace and associated infrastructure.
  • Prioritize VIP support and associated requests.
  • Prioritize support for business-critical departments and associated requests.
  • Adhere to agreed operational processes.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of local and global IT projects.
  • Manage assets for Desktop, Laptop, and other Mobile devices.
  • Manage software licenses for supported applications.
  • Procure locally required hardware and software.
  • Document and create Knowledge Base articles for procedural and troubleshooting.
  • Implement and support global projects.
  • Interact with internal customers, external service providers, internal IT teams, and business departments.
  • Contribute to the workplace improvement process and engage in continuous improvement at the local site.
  • Use internal tools for management of planned and unplanned support work.

Occasional Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that IT infrastructure systems, processes, and procedures are compliant with applicable regulations.
  • Effectively manage and maintain the EUS core infrastructure, systems, and technologies, including Active Directory, Email, SCCM, Telephony, and Video Conferencing.
  • Assist required teams with initiation and planning phases of new technologies and requirements, including the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy.
  • Support local infrastructure teams as needed and technically possible.
  • Manage vendors for problem resolution and local purchasing.
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rota if required.

Required Skills:

  • Strong IT service support experience in a large corporate environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with a strong service focus.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant support experience.
  • Technical background with MCP or equivalent provable experience in Microsoft products, including Active Directory, Teams, O365, and SCCM Cloud services, O365, Azure Windows OS, MAC OSX, and Applications Desktop Deployment, application packaging, and deployment.
  • Understanding of OS X Server, Open Directory, and Mac administration in a corporate environment.
  • Working knowledge of VoIP and H323.
  • Experience with mobile technologies.
  • Good working knowledge of virtualization technologies and management.
  • ITIL certification, ideally with a service desk, incident, and problem management focus.
