BSI Business Development Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales and Growth Professional to join our team at the British Standards Institution (BSI). This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about sales, business development, and customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth, expand our customer base, and increase market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve monthly budgets and targets
- Build strong relationships with clients to understand their business needs and identify opportunities for BSI services
- Communicate effectively with senior audiences, peers, stakeholders, and customers to engage, motivate, and inspire
- Deliver high-quality proposals and presentations to clients
- Manage CRM tools such as Salesforce.com to aid client account management and sales process
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects and services
Requirements
- Degree level education or equivalent experience in sales, marketing, or a related field
- Proven track record of significantly exceeding targets and expectations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop executive-level relationships and engage with customers to establish an understanding of their business drivers
- Experience of working in a KPI-driven environment
Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum
