
Retention Specialist

We're seeking a skilled professional to lead our listener retention efforts.
This role involves developing strategies to save users or bring them back home, by leveraging data analysis and experimentation.
- At-Risk User Intervention (Churn Prevention):
- Collaborate with the data team to identify churn signals using predictive models and analysis.
- Engage directly with at-risk users through surveys and interviews to understand the root causes of dissatisfaction.
- Design & launch 'save' campaigns by developing proactive, multi-channel approaches triggered by at-risk behavior.
- Lapsed User Reactivation (Win-Back Strategy):
- Own win-back campaigns by architecting and managing the end-to-end strategy for bringing back churned subscribers.
- Craft compelling win-back hooks by testing creative offers and personalized content.
- Test and learn rigorously by constantly A/B testing offers, messaging, and channels.
- Analytics & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Owning key performance indicators such as Churn Rate, Save Rate, Reactivation Rate, and ROI of campaigns.
- Serve as the voice of churn to product teams by acting as the feedback loop.
- Partner with core retention for a seamless user experience.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4-7 years of focused experience in churn management, user reactivation, or save strategies.
- An innovative problem-solver who thinks creatively and challenges assumptions.
- Hands-on campaign execution using marketing automation platforms.
- Analytically sharp with strong proficiency in SQL and experience with product analytics tools.
- Experimenter's mindset with skills in designing and interpreting A/B tests.
- A passion for music is essential for understanding listener preferences.
