Retention Strategist

We're seeking a skilled professional to lead our listener retention efforts.

This role involves developing strategies to save users or bring them back home, by leveraging data analysis and experimentation.

  • At-Risk User Intervention (Churn Prevention):
  • Collaborate with the data team to identify churn signals using predictive models and analysis.
  • Engage directly with at-risk users through surveys and interviews to understand the root causes of dissatisfaction.
  • Design & launch 'save' campaigns by developing proactive, multi-channel approaches triggered by at-risk behavior.
  • Lapsed User Reactivation (Win-Back Strategy):
  • Own win-back campaigns by architecting and managing the end-to-end strategy for bringing back churned subscribers.
  • Craft compelling win-back hooks by testing creative offers and personalized content.
  • Test and learn rigorously by constantly A/B testing offers, messaging, and channels.
  • Analytics & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Owning key performance indicators such as Churn Rate, Save Rate, Reactivation Rate, and ROI of campaigns.
  • Serve as the voice of churn to product teams by acting as the feedback loop.
  • Partner with core retention for a seamless user experience.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4-7 years of focused experience in churn management, user reactivation, or save strategies.
  • An innovative problem-solver who thinks creatively and challenges assumptions.
  • Hands-on campaign execution using marketing automation platforms.
  • Analytically sharp with strong proficiency in SQL and experience with product analytics tools.
  • Experimenter's mindset with skills in designing and interpreting A/B tests.
  • A passion for music is essential for understanding listener preferences.
