Job Title: Strategic Development Manager

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules for large-scale development projects.
  • Develop and implement strategic programming plans, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timeline optimization.
  • Collaborate with project teams, stakeholders, and contractors to establish realistic project milestones and deadlines.
  • Utilize advanced scheduling software to create, update, and analyze critical path method (CPM) schedules.
  • Conduct regular schedule risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential delays.
  • Monitor project progress against established schedules, identifying and resolving conflicts or bottlenecks.
  • Prepare and present detailed schedule reports and analyses to project managers, executives, and clients.
  • Collaborate with estimating and cost control teams to align schedules with project budgets and resource availability.
  • Implement and maintain schedule control systems to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Analyze and optimize construction sequences to minimize disruptions.
  • Develop recovery schedules when necessary and propose acceleration strategies when required.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field; master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in construction scheduling, with a focus on large-scale development projects.
  • Proven track record in managing schedules for high-rise residential and commercial projects.
  • Expert proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, sequences, and interdependencies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex schedule data.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey schedule information to diverse audiences.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction contract types and their impact on project scheduling.
